Michael A. Burns, Esq.

With over nineteen years of experience practicing law, including service in the judiciary, Michael A. Burns offers clients a wide array of legal perspective. 
Throughout his career Burns has litigated numerous jury and non-jury trials and smaller arbitration matters across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and in the State of New Jersey.  He has handled hundreds of residential and commercial transactions, tax sales, tax appeals, quiet title actions and  landlord/tenant situations.  Additionally, he has set up various business entities, drafted contractual agreements, merger and acquisition documents, asset and equity purchase and sale agreements, and handled dissolution filings.  

Michael is also a licensed real estate broker maintaining an associate license with C.G. Realty.  
Michael has served on several boards as legal counsel and in director positions. He has also sat in advisory roles in for profit and non-profit entities as well as bar associations, District Judge associations and school boards.  

He is the Immediate Past Chair for the Pennsylvania Bar Association Real Property/Probate Trust Section and Immediate Past President of the Pennsylvania District Judge’s Association in District 11. He is also a former President of the Delaware County District Judge Association serving the board in 2021.

Michael regularly teaches real estate law for the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Institute, Delaware County Bar Association and Delaware County Paralegal Association. He is a frequent guest speaker and panelist on real estate and court related topics for various local and state organizations.
